Marketing

Manager

SnoQap is looking for an individual to manage and grow our marketing presence as an organization. We are focused on improving various metrics such as visitor and view counts, engagement with content, follower counts, as well as others. Please note this is an unpaid volunteer position, as are all of our positions.


Graphic Designer

The Marketing team at SnoQap leads our online engagement, design, and branding efforts. As a graphic designer on the team, you will be responsible for helping set standards for our organizational-wide branding, creating engaging graphics for our social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), and developing materials for our on-campus recruiting efforts.


Social Media Manager

The Marketing team at SnoQap leads our online engagement, design, and branding efforts. As a Social Media Manager on the team, you will be responsible for brand engagement across our social media channels (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), developing and executing a schedule for posts, and serve as the voice of the organization in interactions.

Board of Directors

SnoQap is always looking for dedicated board members who are able to guide the organization. Typically, board members have graduated from a four year university and hold a position in an industry that we cover such as finance, economics, politics, of STEM fields. We are also looking for professors and those with an academic background. Our board members contribute $10 per month and attend meetings focused on developing this organization and the writers within it.


Podcast Host

The SnoQap Student Corner launched in 2021 and aims to bring our writers' articles to life through questions and conversation. The host is responsible for curating the voice and attitude of SnoQap. You will create episode outlines, plan content, and collaborate with interviewees to schedule recording times. You will also work with our Audio Editor to delegate work and process audios. As the host you need to be able to think on your feet and keep the conversation engaging while remaining on track. Being well spoken and articulate is a necessity for the position.


Podcast Editor

SnoQap Podcast Editors will process audio recordings for the podcast team. Podcast episodes are produced on a weekly to biweekly schedule. Most recordings span from a length of 20-40 minutes. The audio editing tool of your preference may be used. These podcast episodes are then uploaded for our followers to listen to on a multitude of platforms.
